Suvvidha Kannan is an educationist and entrepreneur with 20+ years of expertise in early childhood education, driven by a deep understanding of how the early years shape a child’s relationship with learning and the world around them.

With an academic background in Education and Early Childhood Education, she brings together educational knowledge, classroom experience and a clear vision for how preschool education should be experienced.

In 2009, she founded Williez with a belief that continues to define its identity: children should never have to grow up faster to learn better.

She envisioned a preschool where learning extends beyond books and instructions, where curiosity is encouraged, experiences become lessons, and play is recognised as an essential part of a child’s development.

What began as a single centre has grown into a network of 15+ branches, touching the lives of more than 1 lakh children. Yet, the purpose behind Williez remains deeply personal to its founder: to make the early years meaningful without taking away the joy of being a child.

Suvvidha continues to shape the Williez curriculum, teacher training and educational practices, ensuring that the philosophy behind the institution is reflected in children’s everyday experiences. Her work goes beyond building schools; it is about building an understanding of childhood among the educators who influence it.
